Directed by Aruna Jayawardena, Dharmayuddhaya 2 continues the Sinhala adaptation of the globally popular Drishyam franchise, staying true to its trademark suspense while offering a fresh creative vision. The original Sinhala film was a local hit, following international remakes such as Drushyam, Papanasam, Drishyam (Hindi), and the Chinese adaptation Sheep Without a Shepherd.

In this sequel, the central role of Harishchandra originally played by the late Jackson Anthony is taken over by Bimal Jayakody, supported by a large ensemble cast of well-known Sri Lankan actors.

Backed by a highly experienced technical crew in cinematography, editing, art direction, music, and visual effects, the film is produced by Sirasa Media. Dharmayuddhaya 2 aims to deliver a polished, suspense driven cinematic experience that builds on the legacy of a franchise that has resonated with audiences worldwide.
